Employment Specialist
Use your talents to provide job development and job placement services. This position includes using your creative problem solving and analysis skills to think outside of the box and discover each person’s abilities in order to make the best job match. Then supporting participants in the job search and application process by developing and securing jobs in the community through relationships with local employers with face-to-face contact, telephone, electronic, and other networking opportunities.
Job Coach
This position supports Trellis clients to work successfully in integrated work sites. The importance of your work is evidenced through successful forward momentum for your clients in all areas of their performance with the goal of becoming as independent as possible. The other imperative outcome is to build strong relationships within our communities in businesses, employers, peers and guests, assisting them to see the value and talents of our very capable clientele.
Direct Support Professional
To support adults with Developmental Disabilities to live independently in their home and to be integrated in their community by teaching, modeling and encouraging skills and behaviors. This position explores the community and finds fun, cheap activities that our clients can participate in. DSPs help each client in working towards their contract goals by providing a safe and supportive environment.
